Ask the Owner: Linda's UAE Update for Q4 2026 & Q1 2027 🌍✈️🌴

Over the past few weeks, I've been speaking with hotel partners, event suppliers and local contacts across the UAE.

While the overall situation remains uncertain until a more permanent resolution is reached, daily life here has been remarkably calm since April and May. The authorities continue to impress with their focus on safety, stability and keeping the country running smoothly.

We're starting to see some international markets gradually return, traffic has picked up again in areas like Business Bay and Dubai Marina, and many tourism businesses have chosen to stay and wait out the situation rather than leave.

At Clever Travel, we're once again receiving enquiries for late 2026 and 2027, although many clients are still waiting for travel advisories to be updated before making final decisions.

There is cautious optimism across the industry for Q4. Major events such as GITEX, ADIPEC and Formula 1 Abu Dhabi are still planned to go ahead, and several airlines are expected to gradually resume services to the UAE and the region from July onwards.

While challenges remain, there is certainly more optimism today than there was just a few months ago! 💙💜

F&B Venue of the Month: Bla Bla Beach Club in Dubai 🍸🌴

Bla Bla Beach Club has become one of our absolute favourite venues for group events over the years - and it’s easy to understand why.

The venue combines beach club vibes, stylish lounges, themed bars, restaurants, private event spaces and nightlife all in one location, making it incredibly flexible for both daytime and evening functions.

One of the things we love most is how different every part of the venue feels. From lively outdoor areas overlooking Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai, to more intimate themed spaces like the Retro Lounge 🪩✨

For groups, the flexibility here is a huge advantage. Different sections can be privatised depending on the size and type of event - whether it’s a relaxed sunset gathering, networking event, dinner setup or a full-scale private function for larger groups.

The team onsite is also fantastic to work with and always delivers a high level of service for our guests. This is a venue we keep coming back to, and one that our groups continue to love! 😉

Event Flashback: One of our proudest incentive events 🥳🎉

A few years ago, we had the pleasure of organising a large-scale incentive event in Dubai for a European IT & gaming company, bringing together more than 500 guests from across Europe.

The program included several days filled with conferences, brainstorming sessions, gala dinners, entertainment and unforgettable experiences across the city.

The guests stayed at the iconic Atlantis The Palm, where we also hosted conference sessions, exhibitions and a large gala evening.

The event also included:
🏜️ An exclusive desert camp experience
🥂 Gala dinner at Meydan
🎂 Specially designed celebration cakes
🎶 Live musicians performing custom-written songs
🍾 Unique entertainment and afterparty experiences

This is still one of the events we look back on with the biggest smiles, not only because of the scale, but because of the incredible atmosphere, creativity and teamwork behind it all. A true reminder of why we love creating group experiences in the UAE 💫
