Today marks one month since my first competition.
I never imagined how much running would help me through this journey of change.
I remember asking myself if it was possible to perform, to be around the nightlife, without drinking and the truth is yes!! You don’t need anything to feel peace inside.
In my world, that’s not easy to say. But I’ve learned that real strength doesn’t come from what you take it comes from what you control.
It’s been almost 6 months with no alcohol, no junk food, and one full month of racing, fasting, and staying disciplined.
Running taught me more about myself than years of late nights ever did.
This race in Geneva represents change and the desire to keep working on myself. Breaking my time by over 5 minutes in just one month reminds me how far consistency can take you.
This journey isn’t easy, but it’s real and every step reminds me that change is possible when you choose it.
Thank you, Geneva, and all the organizers for making this experience unforgettable.
So if you’re going through a hard time, remember: you can start over too. All it takes is one decision and the discipline to keep going 💪🏾
