21 kids wanted the ONE costume I didn’t bring enough of. 🫠🕷️

I thought I was prepared.

27 children.
A full mix of plush outfits.
And the birthday mom had told me, “Just bring a selection and let them choose.”

Perfect… right?

Until the choosing started.

Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.
Spider-Man.

Suddenly, 21 kids wanted the exact same outfit. 😭

And no… I definitely did not have 21 Spider-Man costumes with me.

That day taught me one of my biggest lessons in events:

You don’t only prepare based on what the client tells you.

You prepare based on what’s happening around you.

What movie just came out?
What are kids obsessed with right now?
What’s trending this week?

Because sometimes the trend becomes your entire event. 😂

And yes… I somehow had to solve the Spider-Man situation on the spot.

MEET THE HEARTS BEHIND THE PLUSH BARN 🤎

It started with one simple family moment… and turned into something much bigger.

We’re Sofia & Ilona, a mother-daughter duo, two mums, and the hearts behind The Plush Barn.

After years of living in Dubai and experiencing so many incredible children’s events, we kept coming back to the same thought:

What if the activity wasn’t just something children did… but something they could truly connect with, create themselves and take home forever?

Then, at a family gathering, we watched children choose, stuff and bring their very own plush friends to life.

The excitement.
The pride.
The little faces holding something THEY had created. 🥹

That was the moment.

The Plush Barn was born.

Today, we create hands-on plush-making experiences where children choose their new friend, stuff it, make a wish during our heart ceremony, dress it, name it and take home so much more than just a plushie.

They take home a memory. 🤎

And this is only the beginning.

This is the moment an empty plushie gets a whole personality. 🐊🤎
