ينسـجم هـذا الحـدث الكبيـر مـع رؤيـة القيـادة الحكيمـة فـي إظهـار الـدور المهـم الـذي تقـوم بـه القـوات المسـلحة الباسـلة فـي حفـظ أمـن الوطـن والمواطـن وكل مقيـم علـى أرض الإمـارات مـن التهديـدات الخارجيـة والداخليـة بالتضامـن والتعـاون مـع الـوزارات والمؤسسـات الحكوميـة الأخـرى. فوصلـت بدعـم قيادتهـا الرشـيدة وعـزم رجالهـا وولائهـم إلـى درجـة عاليـة مـن الكفـاءة والاحتـراف.. تتقاسـم شـرف الدفـاع عـن الأخـوة، وتقـف مـع الشـقيق فـي محنتـه، وفـي الوقـت ذاتـه تحمـل الأمـل إلـى بقـاع الأرض نجـدة للصديـق وعونـًا للمحتـاج، فهـي عنـوان عـزة الوطـن لمـا وصلـت إليـه مـن قـوة واقتـدار وجاهزيـة وكفـاءة وقـدرة علـى تنفيـذ المهـام والواجبـات. وتحظــى القــوات المســلحة بالدعــم الكامــل مــن حيــث طبيعــة التنظيــم، والتســليح، والتدريــب بغيـة زيـادة قدراتهـا، وتطويرهـا لمواكبـة التطـور التكنولوجـي والواقـع العملـي، حتـى غـدت قـوة داعمـة للأمـن والاسـتقرار والسلام الإقليمـي والعالمـي، وأداؤهـا خيـر ترجمـة لقيمنـا الحضاريـة والإنسـانية وأصالـة شـعبنا.
إن مــا حققتــه القــوات المســلحة الإماراتيــة مــن تطــورات هائلــة جعلتهــا تحظــى بالإعجــاب والاحتــرام فــي أعيــن العالــم بأســره، فكانــت بحــق درع الوطــن وســيفه البتــار وحصنــه المنيــع، وهــو مــا مكنهــا علــى الــدوام مــن رد كيــد الكائديــن والمتربصيــن.
إن حصــن الاتحــاد يشــمل العديــد مــن الفعاليــات والمحــاور علــى رأســها العــرض العســكري المشـترك لمختلـف تشكيلات القـوات المسـلحة، بهـدف إبـراز التكامـل والانسـجام فيمـا بينهـا، بالإضافــة إلــى تنفيــذ عمليــات ميدانيــة مثــل المداهمــات الحيــة التــي تعكــس صــورة واقعيــة للقــدرات والإمكانــات القتاليــة لقواتنــا المســلحة فــي تنفيــذ عمليــات الأمــن الداخلــي، ويتميــز العــرض العســكري بمشــاركة وحــدات رئيســة مــن القــوات البريــة والبحريــة والجويــة وحــرس الرئاســة، لإظهــار القــوة العســكرية الضاربــة ذات القــدرة علــى القيــام بمهــام التدخــل الســريع بمرونــة وكفــاءة عاليــة، وكذلــك القــدرة علــى تنفيــذ نطــاق واســع مــن العمليــات العســكرية للدفــاع عــن الوطــن وحمايــة أمنــه بالتعــاون الوثيــق مــع الأجهــزة الأمنيــة الأخــرى.

The Armed Forces receive full support in terms of organization, armament, training to increase their potentials & development to keep up with the advanced technology and practical reality, which made them a supportive force for security, stability and peace regionally & internationally. Their performance is the best translation of our cultural & human values and the authenticity of our people. The tremendous progress made by the UAE Army Forces has earned them the admiration and respect of the whole world, as being the nation’s shield, sword and fortress to put a stop to any harm and havoc.
Military Exercises
The Fortress of the Union includes many events & activities; most important is the joint military parade for the various formations of the armed forces, highlighting their integration and synchronization among them. It also includes live raids that portray a realistic picture of the combat and the capabilities of the army in implementing the internal security operations, with the participation of major units of land, naval, air forces and presidential guard, to show the strong military force with its ability to carry out rapidly, flexibly and efficiently a wide scope of military operations to safe guard the nation in close cooperation with other security bodies.
